Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 24 September 2026
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the VigorEcon Care platform (the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. If you use the Platform on behalf of a healthcare facility, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for that use.
Use of the Platform
VigorEcon Care is a healthcare operations platform provided to healthcare facilities and their teams. It supports patient charts, clinical encounters, laboratory workflows, prescriptions, pharmacy stock management, care-team communication and related administrative tasks. The Platform is provided for lawful professional and patient use in connection with the operating facility's services.
User accounts
Accounts are provisioned by workspace administrators; there is no public self-registration. You are responsible for keeping your credentials and multi-factor authentication devices confidential, and for all activity carried out under your account. Tell your administrator promptly if you suspect unauthorised use of your account. Accounts can be suspended or removed by the operating institution at its discretion, including when required for security or legal compliance.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- access records you are not authorised to access under your role and facility assignment;
- share your account, session or authentication codes with anyone else;
- attempt to probe, scan or breach the Platform's security, isolation or audit mechanisms;
- upload malicious code or interfere with the Platform's operation;
- use the Platform to store information unrelated to the care and administration of patients it serves;
- misrepresent your identity, role or qualifications.
Healthcare service limitations
The Platform is an administrative and record-keeping tool. It does not itself provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional medical care or a means to obtain emergency services. In an emergency, contact local emergency services directly rather than relying on the Platform. Clinical decisions remain the responsibility of the qualified professionals using the Platform.
User responsibilities
Care-team users are responsible for entering accurate information, for using records only for legitimate care and administrative purposes, and for following their facility's policies and applicable professional obligations. Patients are asked to use messaging features appropriately and to raise questions about their care with their care team.
Intellectual property
The Platform, including its software, design and documentation, is protected by intellectual-property rights and is provided for use under these terms. You retain ownership of the content you lawfully create in the system (such as clinical notes), and you grant the operating institution the right to store and process that content for operating the Platform. You may not copy, redistribute or reverse-engineer the Platform except as permitted by law.
Third-party services
The Platform may interoperate with third-party services (for example messaging gateways used for notifications) as configured by the operating institution. Those services operate under their own terms, and the operating institution is responsible for the arrangements it puts in place.
Availability
The operator aims to keep the Platform available but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, upgrades and events beyond the operator's reasonable control may cause interruptions. Features such as offline-capable data entry aim to reduce the impact of connectivity interruptions but do not guarantee continuity of service.
Disclaimers
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, except for obligations that cannot be excluded under law applicable to the operating institution. The operator does not warrant that the Platform will be error-free, secure at all times, or compatible with all devices.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the Platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability arising from the professional obligations of healthcare providers.
Termination
The operating institution may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at its discretion — for example on breach of these terms, on departure from the facility, or for security reasons. On termination, account access ceases; records are handled in line with the retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
The governing law and jurisdiction for these terms is determined by the operating institution's arrangements and applicable law. The operator is based in Kumasi, Ghana. [GOVERNING LAW CLAUSE TO BE CONFIRMED BY LEGAL COUNSEL — this placeholder must be replaced with a reviewed clause before production use]
